Polypropylene microfiber Bayris Fiber-Plus 0.6 kg 0.6–2.4 kg/m³ (Б00001559) is an innovative polymer product with the following advantages: approximately 250,000,000 fibers per 1 kg; enhances frost resistance and waterproofing of concrete; improves tensile strength and impact resistance of concrete; minimizes shrinkage and prevents crack formation. Microfiber consists of reinforcing polypropylene fibers designed to enhance the physical-mechanical and operational characteristics of reinforced concrete structures and construction mixes. The product does not harm construction equipment and inventory and is compatible with all additives for concretes and mixes (plasticizers) TM "Bayris". Polypropylene fibers are used in the production of all types and grades of concrete in residential and industrial production. It can be used in the production of sidewalk pavement (pavers), aprons, concrete slabs, as well as aerated concrete. It is ideal for use in "underfloor heating" systems. Polypropylene fiber can be used in plaster mixes (waterproof), screeds (cement-sand), as well as in monolithic wall casting. Under storage/transportation conditions at negative temperatures, before using the product, it is necessary to maintain a temperature of +5°C for at least 12 hours. Microfiber is recommended to be added at the initial stage of mixing. For better effect, microfiber can be added to water. It can be mixed by any method, both manual and mechanized devices (gravity or forced type). Microfiber should be thoroughly mixed until the fibers are evenly distributed in the mass. Estimated mixing time at the recommended dosage: up to 7 minutes (with manual method), up to 3 minutes (with mechanized method), until evenly distributed when added to ready-mixed concrete or mixtures. Consumption: 0.6 – 0.9 kg/m³: cement-sand screeds, concrete walkways, aprons, construction mixes, plaster, aerated concrete, polystyrene concrete, decorative products made of gypsum and concrete (castings); 0.9 – 1.8 kg/m³: "underfloor heating" system, parking areas, outdoor playgrounds, roads (light load); 1.8 – 2.4 kg/m³: hydraulic structures.
