Sealant Wurth DOS-Sys for hydraulics 50 g 1.2 g/сm³ (0893545050) is designed for sealing screw connections in pneumatic and hydraulic systems subjected to high loads. It is specifically intended for use with high-pressure hydraulic systems in automotive manufacturing, vehicle repair, engine and equipment maintenance, shipbuilding, and electrical engineering. Before use, clean the surface from oil and other contaminants. Apply the product manually to the surface in a continuous bead or thin layer. After application, press the surfaces together as quickly as possible to prevent the adhesive from drying and forming untreated areas. After assembly, the sealant cures and becomes viscoplastic. The cleaner the surface, the higher the strength of the connection. Hydraulic sealing cures in anaerobic conditions, meaning in the absence of atmospheric oxygen. The curing speed depends on the catalytic effect (activity) of the metal and the gap width. Excess adhesive that seeps out from the gap between parts does not cure, so it should be removed with a dry cloth or acetone-based cleaner. The practical packaging with an easy-to-open lid allows for one-handed operation, keeping the other hand free. The smoothly adjustable dosing system ensures control over the sealant's consumption. The packaging is designed for nearly complete emptying, optimizing the usage. No residue remains in the applicator nozzle.
