Acrylic adhesive primer Bayris Quartz-Grunt 14 kg 250-350 g/m² (Б00001665) is used for preliminary priming and strengthening prepared bases before applying acrylic and mineral decorative plasters and paints. Suitable for interior and exterior work. It is also used as a waterproof layer for plastered surfaces and temporary standalone coating for preserving external thermal insulation systems in winter. It is applied on concrete bases, cement-lime, cement-sand plasters, gypsum surfaces, bricks, walls, ceilings, and also as an intermediate layer on glossy, metal, wooden surfaces for applying cement-polymer solutions. Its ecological advantages are confirmed according to the requirements of the international standard DSTU ISO 14024. It does not cause allergic reactions or irritation. It is odorless and free from highly toxic substances. The primer creates a rough layer on smooth, dense surfaces, ensuring enhanced adhesion of subsequent treatment layers to the base. High adhesion significantly facilitates the application and structuring of decorative plasters. The resulting weather-resistant and vapor-permeable coating prevents the appearance of stains and reduces the likelihood of color changes in the plaster layer. It enhances the adhesion of old plaster to concrete or oil-based base, significantly increasing reliability in painting works on concrete. In liquid state, the primer is milky white. The coating is white. Work should be carried out at a temperature of the substrate and ambient environment ranging from +8°C to +25°C and relative humidity from 50% to 80%. Do not dilute with water. Apply with a brush, roller, or brush. Further finishing works should be carried out 24 hours after priming, provided that the obtained coating is resistant to scratching with metal tools. Protect from direct sunlight, rain, and wind during the drying process.
