Eco-bioprotection for wood Bayris Eco-Bio Protect Concentrat 1:2 5 l brown (Б00002310) is an eco-friendly wood protection solution designed to safeguard against biological decay, rot, and mold for wood subjected to harsh conditions, direct contact with fresh water and soil, as well as exposure to atmospheric elements. It prevents the growth of algae, lichens, moss, fungi, and insects. This external application product is intended for protecting structural wood (fences, posts, bridges, pile foundation, etc.) and any other wood under high operational load. Protective properties for wood used under exposure classes 3-4 according to DSTU EN 335-1:2010 are achieved through surface application. Suitable for domestic, professional, and industrial use. This concentrated natural solution contains special resins that do not wash out during use, ensuring long-term wood protection against a wide range of biological threats. It is suitable for deep and surface impregnation (soaking) of wood species with high and moderate absorption levels. It changes the shade of wood to light-brown/gray, making untreated areas visible. It does not alter the wood's structure, cause chemical cellulose destruction in the surface layer, or form a polymer film or salt layer. It has a strong distinctive odor that dissipates within 2-6 months. It falls under low corrosion activity category concerning ferrous metals. The working solution is prepared on-site, following a 1:2 ratio (1 liter of solution to 2 liters of water). Application works are carried out at substrate and ambient temperatures ranging from +10°C to +23°C and relative air humidity from 50% to 75%. The maximum allowable substrate moisture should not exceed 28%. Apply evenly with a brush, roller, or spray method. For achieving protective properties, apply the wood preservative in 1-2 coats, adhering to the recommended consumption rates. For ensuring Class 4 operational performance, apply the undiluted solution. After complete drying, the wood can be treated with any decorative-protective agents. Drying time: 2-5 hours.
