Copper-plated wire Monolith СВ08Г2С 1 kg 0.8 mm is used for automatic and semi-automatic welding of carbon and low-alloy structural steels of grades 10ХСНД, 15ХСНД, 14ХГС, 09Г2, etc., in shielding gas environments. It has versatile applications in boiler making, installation work, pressure vessel fabrication, construction of metal structures, automotive industry, agricultural machinery manufacturing. The welding brazed wire is used for welding (overlaying) products, parts, and structures of carbon and low-alloy steels in flat, vertical, and overhead positions. Welding can be performed both in gas mixtures (mixes) and in pure CO2. To obtain a quality weld, it is necessary to remove scale, rust, and various oxide coatings. When multi-pass welding, the surface of the previous bead must be cleaned of slag. During wire production, plasma vacuum-arc treatment ensures effective surface cleaning. As a result, the surface of the processed wire acquires a characteristic silver color and high adhesive properties, which, during subsequent brazing, provide a solid and uniform coating. Thanks to the quality coating and stable wire diameter along its entire length, uniform wire feed and economical consumption of copper current-carrying nozzles are ensured. Continuous winding significantly extends the service life of expensive semi-automatic welding equipment. It provides the possibility of working with various types of welding equipment. Stable arc burning is observed over wide ranges of welding modes, minimal metal spatter, absence of splashes and porosity in the weld.
