Bioprotective for wood Bayris Concentrat 1:9 5 l green (Б00000330) is designed to protect structural wooden elements (attic coverings, frames, log cabins, rafter systems, etc.) and construction wood (flooring, fences, gazebos, terrace boards, posts, etc.) from biological damage. It prevents the appearance of algae, lichens, moss, mold fungi, and blue stains. Suitable for protection and prevention from insect pests. Suitable for household, professional, and industrial use under operating classes 1-4.1 according to DSTU EN 335-1:2010 (the class of use depends on the application method). The concentrated wood preservative is a product with a green marking pigment that contains fungicide, algaecide, insecticide, and modifying additives. It changes the color of the wood after application (light green), does not wash out during use, and effectively protects the wood. The dye serves only as an indicator of the treatment area, has no biocidal properties, and may wash out over time. It is suitable for deep and surface impregnation (soaking) of wood species with strong and moderate absorption rates. It does not change the structure of the wood, does not cause chemical degradation of cellulose in the surface layer, does not form a polymer film or salt layer. It belongs to products with low corrosion activity towards ferrous metals. Work should be carried out at temperatures of the substrate and ambient air ranging from +5°C to +25°C and relative air humidity from 50% to 75%. Before use, the product should be thoroughly mixed. The working solution is prepared on-site, maintaining a ratio of 1:9 (1 liter of product to 9 liters of clean or distilled water). Premises where wood has been protected with bioprotectant can be used after three days of intensive ventilation. The fixation time - after treatment, the product is fully fixed in the wood under normal conditions for classes 1 and 2 for 48 hours, for classes 3-4 at least 14 days. After complete drying, the wood can be treated with any decorative and protective agents. Consumption: 220-350 ml/m² - depending on the type of wood, method of application, wood absorption capacity, and size of the treated surface. Actual consumption may increase depending on the design of the elements and associated losses, as well as wood moisture! Drying time: 4-6 hours, depending on the wood moisture content and species. Wood bioprotection should be carried out as follows: for class 1 or 2 in one or two applications using a brush, roller, or spraying method (two-stage application involves an intermediate drying stage of at least 4 hours at a temperature of 20°C); for class 3, by immersion for at least 6 hours (two-stage application involves an intermediate drying stage of 24 hours at a temperature of 20°C under cover); for class 4, treatment is carried out in autoclaves.
