The tool features a mechanical safety clutch, the Metabo S-automatic, which provides the lowest kickback among competitors when the disc is blocked, ensuring maximum user protection and uninterrupted operation. The grinder has protection against restart after a power interruption. Thanks to the M-Quick system, discs can be changed without the need for tools by simply pressing a button. The gearbox housing can be rotated in 90° steps for convenient left-handed use or cutting. Another important feature is the automatic shutdown of the carbon brushes to protect the motor from damage. The additional handle Metabo VibraTech (MVT) with low vibration levels makes the work process much more comfortable and helps maintain control over the tool during operation.
