Welding semi-automatic inverter Paton StandardMIG-160 160 А 1.6-4 mm (1023016012)
Welding semi-automatic inverter Paton StandardMIG-160 160 А 1.6-4 mm (1023016012) is a single-body type device designed for semi-automatic welding ("MIG/MAG"), manual arc welding ("MMA"), and argon ("TIG") welding with direct current in protective gases and gas mixtures. The StandardMIG-160 features a fully digital control system, providing multifunctionality and extensive options for precise welding mode settings. The nominal current of up to 160 A allows it to work with any electrodes ranging from 1.6 mm to 4 mm in diameter and solid welding wire from 0.6 mm to 1 mm in diameter. A separate enclosed compartment for the welding wire improves protection against dust and other contaminants. The StandardMIG-160 is equipped with a high-quality metal wire feed mechanism with a powerful sealed motor, and the universal KZ-2 "EURO" type connector enables the connection of welding torches from a wide range of manufacturers. The StandardMIG-160, combining high power and performance, is lightweight and compact in size. Thanks to its LCD screens, the device is easy to configure for any task. The device is supplied with high-quality accessories from ABICOR BINZEL, allowing immediate use in MIG/MAG and MMA modes.
Features:
Housing It has a sturdy metal housing with dimensions of 420х245х300 mm. Weight: 11 kg. |
Сontrol The StandardMIG-160 features a fully digital control system, providing multifunctionality and extensive options for precise welding mode adjustments. |
Mechanism wire feed The StandardMIG-160 is equipped with a high-quality metal wire feed mechanism (wire diameter from 0.6 mm to 1 mm) with a powerful sealed motor. The wire feed speed adjustment range is 1.5-16 m/min. |
Universal KZ-2 connector The universal KZ-2 "EURO" type connector allows for the connection of welding torches from a wide range of manufacturers. |

Reliability of the product All electronics in the device are coated with two layers of high-quality varnish, ensuring the reliability of the product throughout its entire service life. |
Current adjustment Welding current adjustment ranges from 8 A to 160 A. |
Electrodes Any electrodes with diameters ranging from 1.6 mm to 4 mm can be used. |
Welding modes The device is designed for semi-automatic welding ("MIG/MAG"), manual arc welding ("MMA"), and argon welding ("TIG") with direct current using protective gases and gas mixtures. |
Function "ANTI-STICK" During the initial arc strike, the electrode may stick or adhere to the workpiece, which can lead to overheating and excessive heat, potentially damaging the electrode. If the electrode sticks to the workpiece, the device reduces the welding current within 0.6 to 0.8 seconds. This makes it easier for the welder to detach the electrode from the workpiece without the risk of eye injury from an accidental arc strike. Once the electrode is detached from the workpiece, the welding process can continue uninterrupted. |
Function "HOT-START" The "HOT-START" function improves ignition even when using electrodes that are difficult to ignite. It also helps to achieve better penetration of the base material during ignition, resulting in fewer cold welds. Additionally, it prevents the formation of slag inclusions. It features manual adjustment. |
Function "ARC-FORCE" The "ARC-FORCE" function enhances the stability of welding on a short arc, improves the transfer of metal droplets into the weld pool, improves arc ignition, and reduces the likelihood of electrode sticking. It features manual adjustment. |
