Panel varnish Bayris Aqualack 2.5 l glossy (Б00000652) is a product with excellent adhesion to the surface being varnished. It protects against dirt, mold, fungi, prevents darkening, and preserves the original texture and color. The material does not cause allergic reactions or irritation. It has no specific odor and contains no high-toxic substances. In its liquid state, the varnish is milky-white in color. Upon drying, it forms a transparent, breathable, and elastic film capable of repelling water. Transparency may be partially lost upon contact with water but is restored after drying. Environmental advantages are confirmed according to the requirements of the international standard DSTU ISO 14024. The varnish exhibits moderate resistance to water and detergents. It should be cleaned with neutral or weakly alkaline detergents. It is moderately sandable. Due to the possibility of "sticking," it should not be applied on surfaces subject to prolonged contact under load. The level of VOC migration complies with the sanitary legislation of Ukraine according to MB 8.8.2.4.-097-02 and the Law of Ukraine "On the Protection of Atmospheric Air" No. 2707-XII dated 16.10.1992. The acrylic water-dispersion glossy varnish is designed for decorative-protective finishing treatment of prepared wooden surfaces (panels, "lining," skirting boards), wood-derived surfaces (OSB, MDF, particleboard, hardboard, plywood), timber surfaces, as well as for additional protection on water-dispersion coating, wallpaper, concrete, plaster, brick. The varnish is suitable for both interior and exterior work. It is not suitable for varnishing windows, doors, floors, or surfaces subject to intensive mechanical impact. It can be used as a glaze for decorative treatment in a tinted form. Previously untreated wooden surfaces are recommended to be pre-treated with the ultrabio-protective primer "Aquagrunt" "Bayris" in 1-2 coats. Previously untreated mineral surfaces are recommended to be pre-treated with acrylic primer "Bayris." Priming surfaces allows reducing varnish consumption, strengthening the structure, and leveling the absorbency of the substrate. Work should be carried out at substrate and ambient temperatures ranging from +12°C to +25°C and relative humidity from 50% to 70%. If necessary, dilute the varnish with water to the required viscosity for applying the first coat, but not more than 10%. Apply evenly along the surface with continuous strokes, with a thin uniform layer using a brush, roller, or sprayer, sequentially in 2-3 coats. The minimum interval between applications is 2-3 hours. Roughness can be removed with fine-grained sandpaper after the applied layer has completely dried. Drying time is 30 minutes without stickiness and 2-3 hours for each layer at an air temperature of (20±2)°C and relative air humidity not exceeding 65%. The surface is ready for use after 9 hours. Consumption is 100-125 ml/m² per coat depending on the type of surface, application technology, and painting tool used.
