Facade varnish Bayris Aquaprotect 10 l 100-125 ml/m² (Б00000656) protects against dirt, mold, fungi, UV radiation, prevents darkening, and preserves the original texture and color. The material has excellent adhesion to the painted surface. It does not cause allergic reactions or irritation. It has no specific odor or high-toxic substance content. Environmental benefits are confirmed according to the requirements of the international standard DSTU ISO 14024. In liquid form, the varnish is milky-white. After drying, it forms a transparent, strong, "breathable," weather-resistant, and elastic film capable of repelling water. The varnish is resistant to water and detergents. Do not apply on surfaces subjected to intense mechanical impact. The level of VOC migration meets the requirements of Ukrainian sanitary legislation according to MB 8.8.2.4.-097-02 and the Law of Ukraine "On the Protection of Atmospheric Air" No. 2707-XII dated 16.10.1992. The varnish is designed for decorative and protective finishing of surfaces in all types of buildings and structures subjected to atmospheric and mechanical influences. Suitable for application on wooden facades and structures, garden gazebos, gates, as well as on concrete, plaster, brick, tiles, artificial stone. Effective for sealing smooth highly absorbent bases. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Work should be carried out at base and ambient temperatures ranging from +12°C to +25°C and relative air humidity from 50% to 70%. If necessary, dilute the varnish with water to the required viscosity for applying the first layer, but not more than 5%. Apply along the surface with even, continuous strokes, with a thin, uniform layer using a brush, roller, or sprayer, sequentially in 2-3 layers. The minimum interval between applications is 2-3 hours. Roughness can be removed with fine-grained sandpaper after the applied layer has completely dried. It can be colored with water-soluble pigment pastes by manual or machine methods. Drying time is 2-3 hours for each layer at an air temperature of (20±2)°C and relative air humidity not exceeding 65%. The final wear resistance of the coating is achieved after a month. Consumption is 100-125 ml/m² per layer depending on the type of surface, application technology, and the painting tool used.
