Welding modes

The best option for welding with both AC and DC across a wide range of materials, including aluminum, aluminum alloys (TIG AC mode), steel parts, non-ferrous metals, and copper alloys (TIG DC mode). This device can also be used for spot welding (SPOT mode) and welding with coated electrodes (MMA mode). It has a maximum power consumption of 13500 W and supports electrode diameters from 1.6 mm to 6 mm.

Settings

The modern digital interface with a liquid crystal color display allows for convenient setup of the welding machine in the desired welding mode. The device can store up to 10 user-configured welding modes. The interface supports three languages: Ukrainian, English, and Russian.

Function arc ignition TIG Lift

It is mainly used in situations where electronic devices sensitive to electromagnetic fluctuations are present near the welding site, as these devices may be damaged by the non-contact arc ignition unit or oscillator, which generates a powerful high-frequency electrical discharge during arc ignition. By activating the TIG Lift function, the non-contact arc ignition unit will be disabled, and to ignite the arc, the tungsten electrode must be touched to the workpiece.

Welding mode SPOT

The availability of spot (cold) welding mode – SPOT. SPOT is a welding mode for spot or short welds. It involves TIG welding with a fixed parameter – "Spot Time," allowing the welder to perform multiple identical spots or seams.

Function Double Pulse

This function combines standard low-frequency pulsations of the welding current with automatic high-frequency current pulsations. This enhances the quality and appearance of the weld, protects the workpiece from overheating, and increases the productivity of the TIG welding process by speeding up the travel speed. It is used when welding thin-walled components and products made from corrosion-resistant austenitic steel grades that are sensitive to overheating, as well as in cases where there are heightened requirements for the weld's appearance.

Functionality

The Cooler-7S-400V is designed for effective cooling of accessories such as welding torches and plasma torches during operation with welding machines and air-plasma cutting devices. It ensures stable cooling of torches at high welding currents (from 300 A for semi-automatic welding and from 140 A for TIG welding), making it an essential component of equipment for such conditions.

Coolant reservoir

The Cooler-7S-400V features a 7-liter coolant reservoir, delivering coolant with high performance (up to 6.5 l/min) and power (pumping to a height of up to 10 m) in a closed system. The filling neck on the front panel ensures convenience when used as part of a mobile welding station on a cart.
