Hybrid sealant Wurth for windows black 290 ml 25% (0893350803) is designed for sealing self-cleaning glass. The window glazing has been tested by the COT laboratory according to the DIN EN ISO 11600 standard (sealants for building joints). This sealant, based on MS polymer, is suitable for sealing self-cleaning/photocatalytic glass with a titanium dioxide coating. It is also suitable for sealing insulating glass units. Due to the large number of paint formulations, compatibility and paintability should be tested through personal trials. The risk of yellowing when in contact with alkyd resin-based paints cannot be excluded if the sealant needs to be painted before it has fully cured. For optimal results, it is recommended to paint within a few days after application and full curing. Not suitable for PP, PE, PC, PMMA, PTFE (Teflon), neoprene, bituminous substrates, marble, and mirrors.
