Paint for roofs Bayris Profi Roof Paint 5 kg white (Б00002281) is a professional paint designed for decorative and protective coating of roofs made of galvanized metal, tiles, and slate*. It is suitable for painting facades, fences, socles, brick and stone masonry, fibro- and asbestos-cement products*, previously primed black metal, natural stone, and wood. It can also be used for painting gutters, gutters, and downspouts. The surface to be painted requires thorough preparation according to DSTU-N B A.3.1-23:2013, DSTU-N B V.2.6-212:2016, and DSTU ISO 8501-1:2015. The treated surface must be dry, and its temperature should be higher than the ambient temperature. Works should be carried out at an ambient temperature of at least +10°C and relative humidity not exceeding 80%. To prevent the paint from drying too quickly, the base temperature should not exceed +30°C. The paint should not be applied during strong wind, direct sunlight, or rain, and roof painting should be planned so that the paint dries before evening dewfall. To increase drying time, the paint can be diluted with clean or distilled water up to 10% for the first layer and no more than 5% for subsequent layers. The same amount of water should be added to all buckets. When painting fibro- and asbestos-cement surfaces, it is recommended to add a special additive "Roof Paint Additive" TM "Bayris" according to the application instructions. Before applying the paint, it should be thoroughly mixed with a low-speed mixer until homogeneous. Apply in two coats with a brush, roller, or spray gun. The minimum interval between applications is 1-4 hours depending on weather conditions. To ensure color uniformity on large surfaces, painting should be carried out continuously using the "wet-on-wet" method, using material from one batch or mixing different batches of paint. Failure to comply with any conditions of the instructions may result in reduced coating strength and subsequent damage. The coating achieves its full properties 28 days after application. The resulting coating is matte (sheen level G3), fine-grained (particle size S1 - less than 100 µm), of medium thickness (dry film thickness E2 - less than 100 µm), of medium vapor permeability (class V2 - Sd < 1.4 m) or high (class V1 - Sd < 0.14 m) when adding Roof Paint Additive, and has high water repellency (water penetration class W2 ≤ 0.25 kg/(m²·h0.5)). The paint creates a decorative coating resistant to intensive washing (class 1 according to DSTU EN 13300) and temperature fluctuations. It prevents corrosion on metal surfaces. The VOC content complies with the requirements of the Technical Regulation on VOC Emissions Limitation, Order of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources No. 1394 dated October 2, 2018, subcategory "3": paint materials for exterior mineral surfaces, the norm is up to 40 g/l. The actual content in the ready-to-use product is not more than 25 g/l. The environmental advantages of "Profi Roof Paint" TM "Bayris" (confirmed according to the requirements of the international standard DSTU ISO 14024). Odorless and free of toxic substances. Contains a mixture of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1). May cause an allergic reaction. Avoid direct contact of the product with the skin and mucous membranes of the eyes. In case of contact, rinse with plenty of water.
