Biorotective impregnat for wood Bayris Aquagrunt 1 l 150-250 ml/m² (Б00002295) is designed to protect wood from biological decay, rot, and mold. It prevents the appearance of algae, lichens, moss, mold fungi, and blue stain. It is also used for protection and prevention against wood-boring insects such as woodworms, bark beetles, and wood borers. It is suitable for protecting wooden elements of buildings (windows, doors, paneling, frames, log cabins, etc.) and any other wood subject to high loads but without ground contact (rafters, supports, floors, fences, gazebos, garden furniture, poles, structural timber, etc.). It is suitable for household, professional, and industrial use in conditions of exploitation classes 1-3 according to DSTU EN 335-1:2010. It does not wash off during use, does not change the structure or color of the wood, does not cause chemical degradation of cellulose in the surface layer, does not form a polymer film or salt layer. It is used as a primer before applying decorative and protective materials (paints, enamels, varnishes, impregnations, stains, wood preservatives, etc.). Drying time: 4-6 hours per layer at relative air humidity from 50% to 75%. Consumption: 150-250 ml/m² depending on the environment of wood application: from 150 ml/m² for internal and external use under cover; from 250 ml/m² when the surface is exposed to atmospheric precipitation. Actual consumption may increase depending on the type of wood, construction, application method, wood absorption capacity, and surface area. Work should be carried out at base and ambient temperatures from +5°C to +25°C and relative air humidity from 50% to 75%. Before use, thoroughly mix the impregnating agent. Apply evenly with a brush, roller, or spraying method. To ensure protective properties, apply the wood preservative in 1-2 layers following the recommended consumption. Rooms where wood has been treated with the preservative can be used three days after intensive ventilation.
