Acrylic sealant Wurth white 310 ml 1.5 g/сm³ (08921611)
Acrylic sealant Wurth white 310 ml 1.5 g/сm³ (08921611) is designed for sealing interior windows and other interior and exterior expansion joints. The sealant can be painted and plastered, and it has excellent adhesion to most standard paints and plasters (it is recommended to conduct a preliminary test to avoid any interactions). Joints fully covered with sealant tend to crack during joint movement, as the applied paint usually absorbs less expansion than the sealant. The curing time depends on processing temperature, weather conditions, and substrate humidity. In cold and damp weather, this process can be significantly prolonged. Discoloration may occur on wood containing tannic acid. When dealing with vertical joints, pay attention to the sealant's drainage properties. It may cause corrosion on metals such as steel, copper, and galvanized surfaces. Standing water in an acrylic joint should be avoided, as it can lead to leaching. Acrylic is highly unstable in terms of water absorption and release. Due to the changes in diffusion characteristics caused by differences in water absorption in the material, it is impossible to measure the water vapor diffusion resistance (μ) and the equivalent diffusion thickness of the air layer (SD) according to DIN EN 12572 on this material. EMICODE EC1plus: very low emissions. The EMICODE classification system distinguishes the environmental and health compatibility of building materials. Products with the lowest emission levels are labeled EC1plus.
